Friendship Quotes For Picnik

Ivan Ilyich, SAVED BY THE BELL

The Death of Ivan Ilyich is the title of a poignant story of Russian writer Leo T olstoi.
I'm not really comics, but taking advantage of the brevity of it, and because he had heard about it, I began to read. Text rarely touched me as much as we are concerned here. And despite the sadness that the author manages to convey, I anticipate that the story has a happy ending.
Ivan Ilych has died, and the first thought that goes through the head of his "friends" is to guess to see how it will run the career ladder, and think how to get the biggest slice possible it.
other hand, must comply with the unpleasant process of attending the funeral of his "friend", although this does not entail the suspension of his usual game of cards.
the deceased's wife is not going to lag because its main concern is the pension that will be after the death of her husband.
Ivan Ilych has been exemplary individual who has lived pleasantly and has fulfilled the obligations of a decent life ... or at least so he thinks. Ilich
studied law at the University, after which began a successful legal career. He married a woman who is a good match for him, because it attracts and because their union is fine considered among his circle of friends. Ivan likes to surround himself with the upper class, being a liberal person.
pleasant Life of Ivan makes the problems of others are a nuisance to him, trouble you do not understand, much less is willing to bear. Take a safe distance from these people. So when his wife is pregnant with her first child, and constantly requires the presence of her husband, he, he does not understand what is happening, find the inconvenience of marriage, and tries to go away as long as possible, with order to avoid the company of his wife.
Finally, the protagonist will be paid with the same currency. When is he who suffers the punishment of the disease, he realizes that he does not seem to understand him no, and that is in a terrifying solitude. Only his servant and his son, whom Ivan had hitherto despised, take pity on their suffering.
On his deathbed, just being aware of the truth: his life has been a farce, a failure, an absurdity. Compliance with the rules and conventions of high society and what people will say you have corseted and prevented the development of an authentic life.
Ivan Ilyich, who has known the compassion in his life, he redeems the life of emptiness only fifteen minutes before his death, saved by the bell, to feel compassion by his wife and his son. It then manages to give meaning to their lives, despite die in terrible physical pain, most pain, spiritual, and torments him.
