Who is this prisoner, ignored? Armando Sosa.
Sosa and six other Cubans living in the United States belonging to the anti-Castro organization PUND landed on the causeway that links the coastal city of Caibarién to Cayo Santa Maria, north of the province of Villa Clara.
Sosa, along with the rest of the group, was arrested on October 15, 1994 and sentenced to 30 years in prison on charges of "other acts against state security."
During the 16 years he has been in prison has gone through several prisons of the island. He is currently hospitalized in the Kilo 7 Prison in Camagüey province. He has no family in Cuba and the most recent data indicate that in this last prison was visited by marriage Meivis Mülenen Diaz and his wife Madelin Cruz Avila.
