The image of "Queen of Salsa" Celia Cruz, is part of the collection of stamps of the United States which was presented .
According to a statement, "The Guarachera of Cuba" is one of five Latin legends to be honored in "Forever Stamps" and supplementing Selena, Carmen Miranda, Tito Puente and Carlos Gardel.
"It's a very well deserved honor for Celia was, is and will be part of American culture, and be immortalized on a postage stamp is something that I would have liked a lot," Cid Omer said Camus, chairman of Celia Cruz Foundation in the same statement.
