Bending A Spiral Handrail

TIGHTEN ... AND SOMETIMES GOD WILL BE SOMETHING IN HAND TO BELIEVE

The latest papal encyclical, "Caritas in veritate" (Charity in Truth) is dedicated to human development in the context of the current global economic crisis. In it, a statement appears in paragraph 17 that caught my attention. I underlined the phrase drew an asterisk behind it that referred to the footer and there I wrote: "strongly disagree." Here I explain what this sentence and why, to me, is very unfortunate. Benedict XVI quoted
and supports at that point 17 of the encyclical, a statement of Paul VI: "Each one remains, whatever be these influences affecting him might be, the main architect of its success or failure. " This sentence is great and very optimistic, so it's a shame that is false. I wish it were true, but it seems to me totally false.
Remember what he said I remember that St. Paul, that God subjects us to temptation, but that such temptation is never greater than the potential of each. And so the wisdom goes like this: "God squeezes but does not drown."
is really a statement consistent with Christian beliefs, if man is the son of God and is free, always will be free sufficient to recover their difficulties or surrender to them. Therefore not be blamed for bringing Benedict endorsed. However, despite being consistent with Catholic ideology is a false belief.
For me, direct experiences and indirect experiences (say from personal experience, from having lived, experienced, not merely have reflected theoretically) is evidence that sometimes the circumstances that operate on the individual than you and leave you defenseless .
In fact, it is something contradictory in the same encyclical, at the very end, in paragraph 79 to read: "that all men can learn to pray to the Father and beg [...] not We are too undergo the tests. " Well if he pleads that we do not unduly subject to testing will have a possibility to do the opposite, ie we submit to them too! And if this happens, we are subjected to too much evidence, it seems clear that individual is no longer the "main architect of its success or failure, especially when the individual who has it is not strong mentally.
Moreover, the idea that however great the adversity, everyone has the last word to overcome or surrender to them, is widespread even outside of Catholic thought. And we must recognize that for many people is true: many are the real architects of their destiny, that is unquestionable. However, with that for a single person that statement is not true, and can not be elevated to full universal, with only one person has such difficulties that their freedom is annulled, what Benedict says is false. Occurs as with the definition of a living being learned in school: human beings are born, grow, reproduce and die. This definition is false: it is true that is true in most cases, but if I do not reproduce it would be outside the category of being alive. L The question
to come to settle Schopenhauer in his "The art of being happy ", when he explains that each individual has a degree of resilience (using a more modern term), an ability to fit the difficulties and recover them. Catholics would not disagree with this, but claim that God always will take care that the adversity that faces every man will respect the degree of resilience and mental strength. However, the reality and do not consider that case Schopenhauer. Sadly, sometimes the evils that supports a man beyond their level of resilience, and the circumstances then bury the human soul and its freedom.
What happens then? Well, it is a mystery that God allows human beings that are buried under the circumstances, but is evidence that this occurs. In such cases, we must recognize our limitations, to recognize that what we do not make any sense, it probably will in the field of all, an area which is unknowable to us. The designs of the Lord are inscrutable, and for better or for worse we see before us a tree, but we are unable to recognize the immensity of the forest.

Plastic Table Zebra Covers

This kind of "Credo" personnel (with an initial reflection) that I present below is tentative, possibly subject to future changes. However, valid today:

MI CREDO
iron that runs through my veins, and that is definitely part of who I am, it was millions of years ago a constituent part of a star. Where will the same iron, "my" iron within so many millions of years?
Just as energy is neither created nor destroyed, our innermost essence it should not do, but instead must be transformed over a process whose complexity no one knows.
I think it is unreasonable to think that I have a soul.
soul I think that reflects on me a whole individual much higher. Everything that is unknowable to us, just as a squirrel may not be aware of the immensity of the forest that is a part.
I think that all is manifested in me, for example, through my conscience, a guide to action. But nevertheless, that Everything in me said no concern to me only, does not constitute an I faced a thou or you.
On the contrary, I believe that "all are One." Hence the need to leave our isolation through compassion. All sentient beings (in a very particular target species, man) are interrelated in a way that we can not understand. What I do, what I say, I think and feel is not trivial; the contrary, it is very important and somehow affects the All.
I think the way I lead my life has a great impact on my neighbor, and therefore, I have a social responsibility to my fellows, for my brothers. We all have a huge mutual responsibility.
I think that human solidarity can crack, but the work we do in this earthly life with our soul is only part of the job. This continues in the hereafter, because this life is to be only a short step from the road. The work done to my soul resonates at infinity.
This is what I believe. I know it's a bit hodgepodge, but it is what there.

DUCKS AND THE UNIVERSE

This morning I walked across the bridge of Santiago de Zaragoza when h and seen on the banks of the Ebro, a group of ducks swimming peacefully on the calm waters of the river (and says Jack the silent Ebro, passing through the Pillar).
Other ducks often seen along the banks, but this time I have called attention to a tiny size that ducks follow their mother. There were also other ducks in the very small group, newborns, but they were not so insignificant in size as those.
I thought that these ducks tiny size may have been born tonight, and I have marveled at the miracle of life. The sight of the river rocking these animals was also an opportunity for reflection about the beauty of nature.
For my part, the thinking has been that it seems unlikely that such beauty has a random origin. Then I remembered the phrase I heard recently that a scientist in the universe, in which he stated that "the universe could have arisen, could arise spontaneously, without intervention from any cause. Out of nowhere it originated all that currently exists. Although every effect has a cause, if some headway temporarily back, come a point at which the cause-effect relationship fail, and the effect of Big Bang, the creation of the universe, it would cause.
While I understand the technical reasons that explained the scientist, to see those ducks on the river has seemed impossible that such haphazard explanation of the origin of the universe. The existence of our universe must have a sense, an explanation, even if it is, like ducks, a tiny part of a whole before us inscrutable.

Can I Work Out Or Shower After A Brazilian Wax?

few days ago I read an information alleging that a priest had come and n defense of human dignity seen from an ontological perspective . After consulting the meaning of this buzzword, I concluded that what the priest wanted to say that human dignity is inherent in every human being, by the mere fact of being. Human dignity is universal, not just the few predicable.
This assertion, that in principle all we subscribe, is actually under attack from various fields.
What is actually that of human dignity ? This concept may be at least three interpretations:
 1. Every human being, by the mere fact of being, and from conception to death, has an inviolable dignity, intrinsic value regardless of their status, age, sex, etc. That dignity stems from the fact of being children of God. When ever told my mother, rest in peace, that my life was shit, she replied that it was not so, that I was a child of God. How well our elders speak.
 2. as predicable dignity of every human being by the mere fact of being, as in the first case, but with the difference that is not God the source of the dignity of every human being. Dignity in this case is a human creation, with which we have adopted. Human beings would not itself an intrinsic value, but humanity has decided to "shield" every man and woman giving inalienable dignity.
 3. Dignity is something ethereal. It may not be exclusive of human beings. Even some human beings may lack dignity, depending on your circumstances. This idea sounds absurd, but slowly seeps. As an example, the weather was discussed whether to grant formal rights to evolutionarily closest animal to man. Proponents of this idea claimed that the value of the chimpanzees was somewhat like that of any human being. Thus, blogs as "Great Ape Project" reads: "Do not say chimp, say person" or "Great apes meet the definition of people. " I'm not sure a hundred per cent, almost put his hand on fire in this debate even got to hear that the apes had greater value than some human beings (people incapacitated by serious illness.)
Giving dignity to all members of the human species has been a very good idea. Much of the credit for this achievement goes to the Christianity, which considered and a couple of millennia too weak to be reckoned with.
Remember that we should not play with the concept of dignity is not only necessary but essential. Human dignity as something belonging to all humans should be an uncontroversial idea. Discuss their accuracy can cause civilization to slide, as in the not too pasts, to barbarism.

HUMAN DIGNITY TO FOLLOW THE TOILET UNDER ... OR

In principle, we are all morally obliged to be as virtuous as we can, to follow the good and avoid evil. But there are exceptions to this general rule? In most cases (not saying that at all), the answer, in my opinion, is no. However, many people say yes.
few days ago a man appeared on television (with his face hidden) proudly displaying weapons and drugs with which traficab a. In addition, interviews with journalists had place on the stairs of the building where he lived, even from neighbors! Obviously, after the issuance of the images on television, police intervened and arrested office this "skull previlegiado" crime.
But I left the subject, what matters here is that, in the reporter's question on whether the offender intended to continue with their criminal activities, he responded: "of course, is what feeds me and my family" . In short, this guy was considered morally entitled to extend the suffering, violence and pain, with the excuse that he and his family must eat. Is it true that reasoning? I think absolutely not.
But there are more examples in which there is a similar reasoning. For example, when the paparazzi harass any person and they, rightly, protest, the "journalists" or "researchers today," defend themselves by saying they are doing their job ... I work as sad, disturbing the others!
That I do not excuse it. By the same token, we should stop doing the assassin who has been entrusted with our murder: it is their job.
I continue with other cases: the desperate do you have right to kill themselves, knowing the pain they cause? In this case, doubts are much higher, since in many cases their life is hell, unbearable. The Catholic Church speaks on this matter at its Catechism: suicide is always wrong, but the circumstances in which it occurs may be an important mitigating factor. That is, according to the Church, even in this case of extreme personal suffering are free to follow virtue. In the case of euthanasia, the Church's reasoning is similar. In these last two cases, my doubts are much higher. Complex
these issues in the consciousness of each one plays a role.
I am very interested to know what their views on the issue, So I welcome your comments.

Friendship Quotes For Picnik

Ivan Ilyich, SAVED BY THE BELL

The Death of Ivan Ilyich is the title of a poignant story of Russian writer Leo T olstoi.
I'm not really comics, but taking advantage of the brevity of it, and because he had heard about it, I began to read. Text rarely touched me as much as we are concerned here. And despite the sadness that the author manages to convey, I anticipate that the story has a happy ending.
Ivan Ilych has died, and the first thought that goes through the head of his "friends" is to guess to see how it will run the career ladder, and think how to get the biggest slice possible it.
other hand, must comply with the unpleasant process of attending the funeral of his "friend", although this does not entail the suspension of his usual game of cards.
the deceased's wife is not going to lag because its main concern is the pension that will be after the death of her husband.
Ivan Ilych has been exemplary individual who has lived pleasantly and has fulfilled the obligations of a decent life ... or at least so he thinks. Ilich
studied law at the University, after which began a successful legal career. He married a woman who is a good match for him, because it attracts and because their union is fine considered among his circle of friends. Ivan likes to surround himself with the upper class, being a liberal person.
pleasant Life of Ivan makes the problems of others are a nuisance to him, trouble you do not understand, much less is willing to bear. Take a safe distance from these people. So when his wife is pregnant with her first child, and constantly requires the presence of her husband, he, he does not understand what is happening, find the inconvenience of marriage, and tries to go away as long as possible, with order to avoid the company of his wife.
Finally, the protagonist will be paid with the same currency. When is he who suffers the punishment of the disease, he realizes that he does not seem to understand him no, and that is in a terrifying solitude. Only his servant and his son, whom Ivan had hitherto despised, take pity on their suffering.
On his deathbed, just being aware of the truth: his life has been a farce, a failure, an absurdity. Compliance with the rules and conventions of high society and what people will say you have corseted and prevented the development of an authentic life.
Ivan Ilyich, who has known the compassion in his life, he redeems the life of emptiness only fifteen minutes before his death, saved by the bell, to feel compassion by his wife and his son. It then manages to give meaning to their lives, despite die in terrible physical pain, most pain, spiritual, and torments him.

Best Way To Cover Fireplace

BECOME THAT YOU

The statement that the title of this post is in Pindar, Greek poet of the Antiquities Dad.
From a logical point of view, the phrase seems to have no sense. However, intuitively, we all realize what we can come to mean. However, the expression can lead to different interpretations. I state here that I interpret it means.
The idea of writing on this subject, I arrived a couple of days to realize that there are probably aspects of my personality that remain latent but not manifest in my life. Then I remembered this sentence, which for me is very evocative.
All life is a process of knowing ourselves. In fact, a good knowledge of our own being equivalent to possess wisdom. Thus, another maxim, also of ancient Greece, says: "Know thyself."
Man is the only animal who must strive to build itself. The other animals are content to your instincts, and instead the human being must make strenuous efforts to become a real person.
Following the appointments, the poet English Pedro Salinas says that "live, from the beginning, is separate." What we should separate over our lives? Everything that is not ours, that separates us from our true essence, our true personality.
This is the sense that you must have education, help the child grow directly from the point of being himself, and not what we wanted it to be.
One of the meanings of the word guardian is "rod or stick that is stuck at the bottom of a plant to keep it straight in its growth." Similarly, the guardian, the educator of a child, you must provide the right development of the learner.
It may be that our true self is buried under a lot of ideas, emotions, etc. So, be yourself, finally, be responsible for exposing his true self, just as a sculptor does a beautiful sculpture from a block of marble.
In order to better understand this post, I illustrate with an example, my own. In my case, I believe that within me there is an aggression to which I rarely indulge. We all have within us aggression and channel it appropriately to the outside is somewhat complicated. One of my tasks is therefore to learn to show the aggressiveness of a convenient and authentic.
So friend, always flowing with life and making efforts in the right way ... it becomes who you are!

NODAL POINT OF HAPPINESS (II)

the last entry said that the nodal point of happiness is that level of happiness that we tend, with some (not all, of course) independence from the circumstances. That nodal point depends on aspects of our personality that supposedly are set at the end of the adolescent stage.
Here I want to try the alleged stability of personality traits that influence our capacity for happiness.
personality traits, by definition, have some stability across adulthood. These features depend of these factors: Genetic factors
 1. .
 2. environmental factors of our early childhood (0 to 6 years).
 3. environmental factors of childhood and adolescence (age 6 to late teens).
The real question is whether a person knowingly and willingly, is capable of modifying these personality traits. That is, can we make significant changes to our personality? Can we make these changes impact on our level of happiness?
Keep in mind that behind every feature of our underlying personality specific neural structures, physical structures have been strengthened over time.
However, the answer to both questions is yes, human beings can alter their brain (the physical structures in it), thus changing the traits of his personality, which in turn vary the nodal point happiness.
In the West it was thought that this was very easy to do, it was enough to appeal to reason to bring about the changes we want in our way of being. And this is wrong. For some reason we can not perform many of the changes that we are interested to lead a better life. A mere voluntarism is often not enough.
The verification of this fact will tell Ovid: "I see the best and I approve, but I the worst. "
Today we know that we can change, but is not as easy as it looked. We should not appeal only to reason. We treat the deeper layers of the human brain. Thus, only through constant practice of mental discipline will achieve our goals.
Scientists have been studying the technique especially mental meditation, concluding that people who meditate with perseverance they themselves generate in specific brain anatomy, with the brain regions responsible for emotional regulation largest and active in people who do not meditate. Through meditation
find a way to "distract the mind of an obsessive search for solutions to pain and sense of threat," avoiding the "storm of thoughts and images that act adding even more stress by trying to constantly search for solutions that do not find" (quotes from book "emotional self-control techniques" ).
conclusion, that we can change, but this is not enough to appeal to reason and will.

NODAL POINT OF HAPPINESS (I)

highly recommend reading the book by Sharon Begley entitled "Train your mind, change your brain" , I find the concept of nodal point of happiness.
The idea of the nodal point of happiness is to read as follows: each of us has a nodal point of happiness itself. If we imagine that our level of happiness can be measured on a scale of 1 to 10, we could say that Pepe has a nodal point of happiness 3 and Ana has a nodal point of happiness 8.
This means that if Pepe, that in our imaginary scale has a level 3, you win the lottery, their happiness is likely to increase temporarily until higher levels, a level of happiness say 6 or 7, say. However, as time goes on, the happiness level of Pepe back down, about level 3 has party.
intervene now in the life of Ana, this time with an event (an event) negative. Say Ana loses one of his best friends in an accident. Ana, which starts with a level of happiness "structural" 8, will be reduced in a "cyclical" their level of happiness to, say, a level of 3 or 4. However, over time, their happiness will increase to close to a level close to the original, or 8.
Although it is an idea that I think is not widespread, is not what happens to us but how we interpret what happens to us. Nodal point of happiness high ensures that our interpretation of what happens to us will be positive, and our ability to remake the setbacks of life will be high.
The importance of this concept of nodal point of happiness is that an individual does not have to worry so much about the circumstances that surround and surround in the future life as by the level of happiness tends spontaneously.
This nodal point of happiness is characterized by stability, shaping our affective style, ie how we respond to events of life. This stability of the nodal point is true at least since we reach adulthood. However, a happy childhood does not guarantee a happy adult, or an unhappy childhood leads us into adulthood unhappy.
But by adulthood the nodal point of happiness (our affective style, whether positive or negative) is stabilized. Thus, a stronger person able to weather almost any event taking place in your life, while a weak person, however well you go in life, you will find many difficulties in achieving an acceptable level of happiness.
In other words, the luck in the daily life has little importance compared to how lucky we were when "shared" the different nodal points of happiness among all human beings. Thus, as Goethe says, the greatest luck is personality.
But fortunately, according scientific studies have been completed on the subject, the nodal point is not as stable (and even immovable) as previously thought. On this attempt the second part of this issue.

MIRACLES POSSIBLE

On Friday came a very interesting story in the newspaper Heraldo de Aragon. "
In the Society section, the cited paper reported that the cardinal of Krakow, Dziwisz, has announced a special event held a few days ago in the crypt of the Basilica of St. Peter's Basilica.
A boy came there with his parents, suffering from a kidney tumor that prevented him from walking, and visited and prayed at the tomb of Pope John Paul II. To go outside the basilica, the child, who was in a wheelchair, told his parents he wanted to walk. Before the startled parents, the child got up from his chair and began to walk. Another miracle
course refers to what happened to a 26-year-Cleveland, that according to U.S. television, he suffered a fatal wound to the head. The youth received a string of Karol Wojtyla, and immediately began to improve from his wound.
The news here.
Given this news, the immediate question that arises is: do we believe these events? If so, what are attribute them?
I personally think that these two events may have actually occurred. In particular, the first, since it has the endorsement of a cardinal. As to whether they are miracles or not, I humbly that cases like these can be good examples of the confluence between science and religion. When science reaches the top of the mountain, you see that God was already at the top before she arrived, many people think.
Science is discovering that the mind has a power far more effective to change and transform the reality of it until quite a few years previously thought. These alleged miracles comment here may be due to the sensational processing capacity has the mind. However, this does not imply that it is restricted to scientific refusing the spiritual dimension.
In fact, in the Gospel of Matthew 9, 18-26 tells the healing of a woman with blood flow. When the woman touched the garment of Jesus, he says the famous phrase of "Daughter, your faith has healed you." This expression is very striking, because Jesus himself said it was not him, at least only he who has saved the woman, but their faith has been that women have the he has done at least part of the miracle.
Thus the biblical maxim that "faith can move mountains" is no what at odds with the scientific principles that endorse the immense power of the human mind.

JOHN PAUL II A MEME, AND A AWARD

When I take time without writing, if some kind soul comes to help me with a meme rescued. They are easy to fill and I tend to hook back to write more songs. In addition, I have been given an award, which I note here also. This time is

Mens Waxing Greenville Sc

appreciate what you have

I received a powerpoint of my friend Olma which tells a story that I think are worth transcribing here.
The story title is "Your greatest treasure."

YOUR GREATEST TREASURE

They say that once a man walking along the beach on a moonlit night as I thought

"If I had a new car, be happy"
"If I had a big house, be happy"
"If I had a great job be happy "
" If I had a perfect match, be happy "

At the time, stumbled upon a bag full of stones and began throwing them one after another into the sea, every time she said:" I would be happy if I had ... "It did
until only one pebble in the bag, which was saved. Upon arriving home he realized that this stone was a diamond valuable.
Can you imagine how many diamonds plunged into the sea without stopping to appreciate?
throwing many of us spend our precious treasures waiting to be perfect or what we dreamed of, and desiring what is not there, without giving value to what we have around us!
Look around and if you stop to look you will realize how lucky you are. Notes
the stone, which can be a valuable diamond. Each of our day is a precious diamond, precious and irreplaceable. Up to you to use it or throw it into the sea of forgetfulness never to be able to recover.

This story has touched me especially because it makes me aware of how I focus on the negative things that happen to me, not realizing all the positive things I have. Especially repair in the fidelity, loyalty and generosity of my friends, my family and most people around me.

Pinky Adult Flims For Sale

I'm sure more than one person any information that I will expose ra then will seem science fiction. So it seemed to me as I too listened rapt.
However, all the information I discuss here has the highest reliability, it is taken from a BBC documentary that gave La 2 on Saturday under the "The theme night." The documentary titled "Parallel Universes" and can be watched here (in five parts) from the links at the bottom of this post.
The alleged existence of parallel universes has a place within a theory wide, called M-theory
M theory or theory of the membrane has been proposed recently, while almost has not yet begun to discuss the scientific community. Try to explain the origin of the universe and explain everything that happens in it.
Until recently it was thought that the universe had been originated from a single Big Bang, a big bang from which everything was created. It is also believed that all objects were composed of particles, and there was only one universe.
M theory would ruin, if confirmed, all these beliefs.
First, there would be a single universe, but infinite. That is, instead of speaking of the universe would speak of the Multiverse.
As for the origin of the universe we inhabit, it would have been caused in the collision of two pre-existing universes. The shock would have been similar to that of two steel plates to move toward each other with waves in each of them. Because of these waves, there would be a single shock or Big Bang, but many in succession.
Moreover, the objects that we know would not be made up of particles, but strings (the electron is not really a point, but a rope in a loop)
Another innovation would be that the universe we know would have no 3-dimensional , even the four that Einstein proposed to include the time. Would have 12 dimensions, including time.
As I said, there would be only one universe, ours, but we should speak of countless universes, each guided by different physical laws.
This section of the infinite parallel universes is the most interesting theory: universes
 • not have any life.
 • Others have rudimentary forms of life.
 • Others may have civilizations like ours.
 • And if the number of universes is infinite, it is assumed that there might be a universe, or more than one, identical to ours in which McCain, not Obama, had won the American elections. Would universes in which we ourselves exist (well, maybe it would be more accurate to say that there would be beings identical to us). Who knows, maybe one universe is exactly like ours but humans there are no problems and live in Utopia, in a happy world.
Finally, the theory is a kind of manual of instructions for creating a universe. That is, perhaps we were in a position ourselves to create a universe in the laboratory. If confirmed, this theory
M, philosophical and theological implications are quite unpredictable. Other scientific theories that have been revolutionary for human thought, as the theory of Darwinian evolution would be child's play next to the ideological revolution that would confirm this theory. It would be a totally new way of conceiving the universe.

Eluana Englaro PARALLEL UNIVERSES: REST IN PEACE

On Monday, around 8 pm, and two weeks in advance about what calc ULAB doctors, died Eluana Englaro because of a heart attack caused by lack of hydration.
The news here. Eluana Englaro
suffered a traffic accident in 1992, accident that left her in a coma, allegedly irreversible, and in need of artificial nutrition and hydration, but did not need ventilation.
have already mentioned the case of the Italian woman a previous post, several months ago. At that moment, in July 2008, a judicial decision of an Italian court had allowed doctors to the cessation of artificial nutrition and hydration.
For political reasons, this statement could not be carried out. However, a few days ago Eluana was transferred to a clinic in which I was able to begin the process of withdrawing artificial nutrition and hydration.
Italian society has undergone a terrible argument. The entire country has been involved in the dispute. These are the positions taken by some of the parties.

Eluana's father
Eluana before suffering the traffic accident that left her in a coma, she visited a friend named Alessandro who was also in a coma. On returning home, she told her father that she would not ever be in that state, and made him promise to his father that if something similar happened to her, not leave her in that state. Her mother confirmed that the will of Eluana in case something happens like what really happened was dying.
Beppino Englaro, Eluana's father, has struggled for over a decade for the right to die for his daughter.
states that the physical deterioration of her daughter was terrible, with only 40 kilos in weight, sores, etc.

The doctor who helped him to die
The doctor said she had cared to Eluana all this time and now was going to help to die. "I help a person to fulfill his own will. This is a defenseless human being who has been betrayed by everyone, except her father and a few others. And maybe it is still [referring to a last attempt ultimately failed, to Berlusconi to avoid the death of Eluana]. I assume my responsibility. Do not I take a step back. "

Critics of the decision to die
Eluana
For them, death would suffer entailed great suffering for the patient, one of the most painful deaths a human being can experience. Moreover, questioning the supposed irreversibility of coma.

Catholic Church
"May God forgive you." This was the Vatican's reaction, according to English television, before the confirmation of the death of Eluana. The words were obviously directed to all those who have made the death of Eluana. The Church has supported all actions of the President, Silvio Berlusconi, designed to stop the death of Eluana. From the Vatican has described the incident as murder unequivocally, as a morally heinous act, even in the case would have been irreversible coma with a 100% safety

Has the Italian company right in the case Eluana?
Although in the previous post I wrote on this subject was more ambiguous, I now believe that the decision has been taken in Italy has been successful. In this case must be paramount will of the patient, expressed logically before the fatal accident. Here the will of Eluana is clear: it would then be treated to keep it in a coma. From what I know, if this had happened in Spain and Eluana had declared in a living will their willingness to respect the doctors had been forced to not treat it as an early time.

ORIENTAL PHILOSOPHY A DEBATE (VII)

A point has been on olvidárseme the last of the seven spiritual laws which, according Indian ven Dr. Deepak Chopra, lead to happiness and prosperity. Who wants to see the seven laws followed, you must click on the label "philosophy" of the list of labels displayed on the side of the blog. There appear the seven laws, in separate all entries titled "ORIENTAL PHILOSOPHY TO DEBATE."

SEVENTH LAW: LAW OF DHARMA

Dharma means "purpose in life."
This law encourages us to discover our spiritual being, through a spiritual experience that enables us to find the higher self within us. In this way we will be more detached from the specific circumstances of each day, taking a broader view of life.
This is often recommended to be meditating in silence (30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening).
This law also means that we must strive to find the reason why every one of us is here. So, try to discover our unique talents, how to serve humanity with those unique talents and ways of expressing these talents, which are also unique.
It is recommended to compile a list of who we are our talents, and a list of things I like to do while the Express. For example, a person may think his talent is to educate children and likes it being a school teacher.
also try to answer these questions: What is my turn? How I can help? What is the best way for me to serve humanity? What if money was no problem?

THE MEANING OF LIFE
This is the law of dharma, the purpose of life. I am interested in this deeper sense of life. Psychiatrist Victor
Frankl, a prisoner in a Nazi concentration camp, found that those prisoners who had a reason for their existence (a family waiting for them after the war, satisfying work, a religious sense of life, etc) had less tendency to commit suicide than prisoners who had no explicit meaning to their existence. Carl Jung
also said: "I have treated many hundreds of patients, and I have not seen one, more than thirty years, whose problem, in the end it was to find a spiritual perspective of life."
What these great scientists say must be taken into account. That is, it is important find meaning in life.
However, in my opinion, beyond the will to meaning is the will to power (as I am not using these terms strictly philosophical, but I hope that I understand).
What I mean is that even before the need to give meaning to our lives, we have the imperative to believe that we have some control over our existence. This need to have some control over our lives is prior to the need to give meaning to our lives. Without the awareness of having some control, that we will have room to maneuver, our life becomes a compass north and crazy, and life automatically loses any sense.

summary then, this latest bill proposes two things: bringing meditation as a path of spiritual perfection, and the search for meaning in our lives.

CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION: TOWARD MOURNING

The English Supreme Court has handed down a ruling on the alleged right of parents to object to the subject of Education for Citizenship (EPC). This court ruling that parents have no such right of objection, so that all English children are forced to this course.

The news here.

Whether you are for or against of the requirement of this course, was the voyage of Education for Citizenship an archetypal example of how the legislative machinery in this country, particularly in terms of education. So I see the story:

1. Given the demand by society as a whole school that values are taught to children, the socialist government decided a few years ago, with the support of other parliamentary groups, bring forward the subject in question.

2. Following a longstanding tradition, the government is not bothered in the least to reach a consensus with the main opposition party, the Party People, when passing the law (the picture side contains the exact moment that the decision ZP).

3. The Popular Party, backed by the Catholic Church and other groups, and also fully respects the secular and sacred traditions of Hispanic, decides that if the Socialists have carried out what everyone, including them, I wanted (more education values at school), then you are wrong. Much of the society spends so this requirement for values education to the fuss and say that the moral education of children should be restricted only to families. In short, a new excuse to put sticks on the wheels of a political rival.

4. This reaction of some parents, they ask for judicial review, finding that the judgments of the courts vary depending on the Autonomous Community in which the claim is filed, recognizing some of them the right to conscientious objection and denying others. It is fair to recognize that the mobilization against the law was and remains an important specific weight. Despite this, and of course, that socialists do not care, as if half the country wants to stop, and their views do not negotiate with anyone.

5. The Supreme Court issued a sentence, so the issue is settled, at least temporarily.

6. And finally the best ever. What all this has served plunger? Now there will be resources, but especially popular in coming to power will be undone in one stroke of the course, subject to a more than likely change ode t education legislation, which is what always happens when the government changes its color.

7. Moral: Our educational system, one of the worse off in developed countries will not raise its head, paying the stubbornness of politicians who either shot feel to work together and agree on laws, even in something as strategic for a country as education. The Goya painting, "Mourning with clubs, still without losing one iota of effect in our solar homeland.

Being Friends With An Ex Scorpio Man

clubbed A NEW WAY

why people who have many things to offer and to say just appears on TV? have to look very closely to find TV shows where it appears people with something to tell.
I think this because of the excellent interview on Thursday issued TVE 15 in program "On nights like this," . The interview was conducted by Juan Ramón Lucas, sagacious interviewer, to José Luis Sampedro , writer and economist with over 90 years of experience behind him.
A pleasure to hear a person who shows wisdom from every pore of the skin.

While worth watching the entire video, here I will discuss only the first half (until minute 13:13).
In this first part of the interview, Sampson explains his views on the current economic crisis.
For him, the economic crisis is temporary, but is one among many symptoms that indicate an early collapse of the western way of life.
Other symptoms of the end of our modus vivendi is the global food crisis, the crisis medio-ambiental y la crisis cultural.

In my opinion, the current economic crisis will not lead to any significant change in our current economic paradigm. The recasting of capitalism vaunted means nothing. However, the duration of the crisis is unclear, but could be prolonged for more years than we think, as happened in the crisis of 29.
But what does seem clear is that our way of life under the capitalist system is in permanent crisis, and for many reasons it will be impossible in the future, far closer than, continue as now. Do not forget that we rely on a system of unbridled consumerism, and that China and India will enter into such a spiral, with about 2,000 million people.
Sampedro says dismantle the system in a rational or collapse a disaster. Whereas there is little long-term vision that seem to have all world leaders, it seems more likely the collapse of catastrophe.
In any case, I'm sure it will come later, for all the world's population will be more beneficial than the current system of exploitation of man by man.

Pentimento

Claure Federico Pinedo was a typical only child of two lawyers, Caucasian, blond, tall, educated and without personality. When I was fourteen, I liked it because it was nice and quiet, because smoking and because he always lent the car to make me look for my house to get ice cream or go to the lake to pretend that we wanted to have sex, although after a few kisses (mouth, the rest of the face, neck) for some reason both were losing momentum and we started to talk about school and our future. Federico belonged to a group of people with a terrible failure, which rarely gives importance: did not know what he liked. While it was clear I was delirious, raving, with the idea of reading a lot of hard things, and speak many languages and look very smart in front of important people, he gave the same to be a lawyer to put a grocery store, attend a business or made any ski instructor, which is why his parents finished high school he was sent to the University of El Salvador to study law. By then we already had a long time since we were dating and I do not smoke or drink cold. The truth is I do not remember why we broke up. Moreover, I think we did not even break up the conversation. As I recall, the thing just faded, let's say hello to peck at school, we stopped calling, stopped looking to go to the lake. Something became meaningless, but no one cheated, no one was, no one left.

Time passes, I move, do what I can to try to get closer to what it used to rave at fourteen, improved in some ways and worsened in others but, overall, I start to feel safe increasingly secure in more places and more types of people.

Nine years later I'm in Buenos Aires on the occasion of a concert that happens on a Tuesday or Wednesday, but I have money and nothing else to do and decide to stay a few days. On Thursday I meet a couple of those semi-locals chat friends and go to a concert in Victoria Mil in a small theater where it's very hot and do not sell anything to drink. Nobody but me is complaining. It seems to be normal. People re Pimp to go there, come, sit, see the band and leaves. Over the show quite good indeed, I hope to make a decision premises, go somewhere else to get drunk or get into Niceto club for example, but the thing is not defined. So I think at parties often arm themselves quickly here in this wet and nasty people almost by force embedded in the middle of the jungle. The strange.
After forty minutes in the door, I dedicate to smoke a bit and try to talk (although I'm really looking mustaches engrossed giant of all those young people who have just left and platinum Melenita of girls who at some point I'll stop trying to look like), nothing happens. We walked to the corner and we said goodbye until the next day. And single, I cross a street stock and, following the indication of my semi-friends chat Buenos Aires, I hope the 86 in the stop. I do not know at what point did the two in the morning. The group arrives at once, is almost empty and at a speed that makes me panic. I climb and spend a couple of uncomfortable minutes putting coins in a machine can not understand. Way almost to the bottom and I collapse into a seat either. Then I recognize the moon, but I get the boluda and look out the window repeatedly since, well, I have fear of getting out in the wrong place. The moment, however, comes quickly, Federico Pinedo Claure says my name and I have to turn your head and make me surprised. He already is rising and sitting in the seat next to me free. It gives me a kiss on the cheek and afraid. "You'll notice that I have ruined her hair and weight as ten kilos more? But since you're talking about naturally from how long since we've seen, I relax a little, stop thinking about me and the can cause bad impression, so I can watch it. Scruffy, my grandmother would say, a grungy, my mother would say, hippie, I say, and the worst connotations. Several rings, a cowboy on his knees broken. Long hair. _
And you como andas? They said that studying history.
_If, yes, study history. _Contesto Although I'm trying to remember who the character is painted in white on his black shirt.
_Yo also studied history. Since I graduated. _Dice With some pride that those who no longer are students and this time I have to fake my surprise.
_Que well, but did not study law, in private?
_Nah in the end I got here, I met people there just grosísima and sent to my old shit and decided to enroll in the UBA. And the truth was the best I could do in my life. Knowing the history lets you build a better present, right?
_Claro.
_Ahora come from a meeting with the group, you know, we are organizing literacy campaigns in villages and elsewhere in the suburbs.
_Ajá, good. _It Subcomandante Marcos. _Y
yes, year Last year we made a documentation and documented more than a thousand kids, you know, and teach them why they should have the Denei, when they have to vote, to see what value they have as citizens, you see.
_Claro, a. _
And you are you doing here?
_Vine to a concert of Morrissey. Do you know?
_Nah, no idea. And you just came from there for that?
_If, yes, basically for that. _
laburando Are you?
_No, not yet.
_Que luck boluda, I have no time for anything. Among who works at two schools and all the activity of the group, do not go out anywhere, I have never up a mango. _It Laughs. There is some confidence so I ask. _
But what about your old ...?
_Nah or speak, I long time since I bank only. I stayed in a hostel a couple of years, was half slump, but now I'm with friends in Almagro, small apartment, all smooth.
_Copado. _If

_Claro. Hey, is this is the square next Congress?
_Yes, here is the Congress.

bueh, maybe next time. _When
want. Hey, tell me just one thing, who is your favorite character in history?
The question is so ridiculous that I can not answer. I try to think of someone I like it and will not appalled.
_Bismarck.
laughed.
_Yo'm between Lenin and Allende. It's good to talk to someone else in your vocation, you see. _If
is good. We're seeing, Fede. _de
one, we are.
I ring the bell just in time to not continue long. Low, crossed another avenue anonymous and walk across the plaza. We had nothing to do. Federico Pinedo Claure went from a nasty group of people to another group of people too uncomfortable. That waste of political correctness, that style naive world view, believing that going to change reality by sitting talking until three in the morning with your group or you are going to improve the future knowing the past had always seemed a little pathetic, stupid. But all these ideas innocent, all the momentum and a desire to do something for other people to come of it, somehow it seemed nice, and not just cute, but respectable, almost exemplary. My cell phone rings, I open it and there is a message from one of my semi-friends chat locals. "Tamos in Niceto mandate" he says. I pause, almost reaching the end of the square, and for a moment doubt. I am a spoiled and parasitic assholes who do not know what they like, it is not received and that does nothing more than reading novels, drinking and watching sit coms all day, I think, and no mistake.
not answer the message and go back to the hostel. Just as we were going to leave tomorrow.

NO LIFE, THE TRUTH, NO, I can not complain

whom the title will seem a little weird, but I guess most readers will identify in him the title of a song. By the way, beautiful and performed by Rafael, a great artist.

yesterday afternoon I was thinking about this: I can not complain, much less how people treat me.
If a person, before entering on this our planet, read on as what philosophers and writers who have existed over the centuries, the poor come to life neophyte frightened, distressed, in mind one thing: "The Man is a wolf to man, "I will betray everywhere, even my own blood brothers. "
I remember how my father, God rest his soul, he repeated sarcastically tiresome and, while quite serious, this phrase: "never trust your own father."
The truth is that I'm not really read that say, but I'm sure that if we did a review of the main feathers of the history of mankind, few find that show faith in man, in our human race, who opted for trust in our fellow man instead of mistrusting it systematically.
And even when we turn on the TV and watch the news, it seems that we have to agree with all this pessimism, I personally if I see the treatment given to me by my peers, family, friends and even strangers, I have to admit that the record is quite positive.
few disappointments I've had with people, some yes, I must say. But in general, people treated me gave me not only disappointed, but bring joy and a better amply treatment could be expected.
Sometimes it is very difficult to understand me (sometimes, even I understand myself) and even on those occasions, others seem to understand me, or at least hide and I do see his misunderstanding with cruelty.
So, despite my pessimistic nature (well, better say that I have not learned to be optimistic), facing the man and I am very optimistic future. I know that in this every one will think in terms of how he does it, come on, that everyone has the show as he goes in it. To me, as this aspect is fine for me, because I think so, as experience tells me.
And from here, I read or not read me, I thank all those who through their daily work, I show that the man may be a similar to humans.

PASSIONS EARLY, SO LATE FIRST MEME

What follows is an adaptation of an excerpt from "The Critic" by Baltasar Gracian . The book is a collection of allegories about the difficulties we are in the way of life to get people to become authentic. This passage is allegorical of the first of the difficulties that we discussed when children, even without the use of reason.

TWO WOMEN

two pedestrians were walking, and Andrenio Critilo names for the roads of Spain , when they saw a huge host this group of children from different nations, as it showed their various costumes.
These children of all ages, young and old, had been collected and were under the leadership of a strange woman, cheerful, soft words, all her caresses, praise and affection. It was extraordinary entertainment that all that mother caressed common.
The woman was carrying a thousand inventions of toys to entertain them, and not less provision of gifts, and some crying, went quickly making parties and loving touch, giving it status as requested not to cry. Particular care to children of people who seemed principal.
parents themselves, to see it happen, they brought their children, trusting that more of it themselves.
Andrenio, one of two passers-by, took one of the youngest children arms, saying

- "How can this child be almost insensitive, stupid and useless, has come to be a man of understanding?"

Critilo mate replied that there would be what cost to be a person, which costs a lot because man is a lot.
Andrenio was surprised with the unspeakable affection of this woman, looking for if you have enjoyed this happiness himself.
This Critilo replied:

- "Do not envy what you do not know, or call happiness until you see what for."

walked tirelessly, always downhill, so that no one is tired or the wrong pass. Fed them once a woman who was all day.
When you reach a valley between mountains black, woman ordered to halt. My rand either side, made the sign used, thus beginning to emerge from the caves ntas hungry beasts: lions, tigers , snakes ... bloody carnage that killed and ate children. They took their caves for their fierce grass were puppies.
Children themselves incited the beasts themselves, causing them to them closer.
Andrenio was astonished seeing such a terrible betrayal and cruelty

- "Could this have stopped in your touch, sacrilegious woman? Is this why so much care and assistance? Innocent children, soon you were the victim of misfortune. Oh, deceitful world, what this is used on you? "

Andrenio, wanting revenge on the woman going for her, but it has already fled, seeking to bring as many children sold for slaughter. Andrenio wept as irreparable damage.
Amid such carnage, appeared at the top of the mountains another woman, surrounded by light, which descended to deliver as many children as she could.
was beautiful in the extreme, and beasts, seeing his arrival, fled to their caves.
this woman began to catch the few children who were left, Sacande or many of the caves and the very jaws of monsters, finding that most major had more killing wild animals. Leaving
there with all the saved, took them to the top of the mountains, q ue is safest. She gave them a light that fell into account the danger they had state, and handing them each a precious stone which threw a clear light. E ncomendó children to some wise men, so that always walked uphill in the world.
By this time you could hear more screams of another group of children in the valley, and the beautiful queen was to help them.
Seeing all this, said Andrenio:

- "What two women so contrary! Tell me, Critilo, who is the first, to abhor, and second, to celebrate? ".

Critilo explains:

- "That our first tyrant is our propensity to evil. He captures a child and anticipates the reason, triumphs in childhood. While the parents themselves, with the love they have for their children, condescend to them, and because it granted the boy cry as you like déjanle do His will in everything and get away with it forever. And so grows greedy, vicious, vindictive, angry, stubborn, lying, crying, full of ignorance, helping a natural inclination. "
" Apodéranse with that of a boy his passions, gain strength with the pater nal collusion, leading him to fall prey to the vices and slave to his passions. So when it comes reason, with the virtues their partners, and is given to vices, and many of them beyond repair. Many facts are perishing disgrace of his vice, and more the wealthy, in which the gift is brought up once more over vice. Those bred in need are best fought and drowned the snakes of his passions in the same crib. "

Andrenio to Critilo Asking what was that Stone has given us all, he replied:

- "This stone is the diamond between the blows of suffering and between the fire d to desire is stronger and bright, is the northern states under the so-called opinion of reason, and the truest friend we have. "

I hope you have enjoyed the little story.
